Wanting to make those ideas of full immersion come true, Modal VR wants to provide both the hardware and software required, headsets completely wireless combined with full-body suits will allow users to immerse themselves in a whole VR world. The downside is the equipment is expensive, of course… But could it be that the experience might just be worth it? Imagine how it would be if you watched (or better said, experienced) Star Wars or Lord of the Rings, in VR. We can’t know for sure yet, but this might just change the film industry forever. A whole new way of not just ‘watching’ movies, but making them and living their stories.
